Arco State

Arco State is the collaborative project of Berlin-based producers and musicians Alex Simmance and Amalle. Two contrasting musical lineages converge into a shared expression rooted in minimalism and neo-classical nuance, expanding outward into ambient, electronic and IDM-infused techno: a sonic dialogue as textured as it is precise.

Folded, their debut five-track EP, sits on a unique threshold: delicate yet expansive. Anchored in sparse, emotionally charged piano motifs, each composition follows its own path. Some dissolve into atmospheric ambient forms, rich in tone and texture; others reassemble into striking electronic architectures, shaped by resampled acoustic fragments, tactile synthesis and detailed sound design.
